The BBC & Natural History Museum Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition is currently running at Auckland Museum in conjunction with the winning entries from last year’s New Zealand Photographic Exhibition. The standard of photography is absolutely mind-blowing. If the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition comes to a city near you — it tours the world —go and see it! This image of a starling flock comes from the NZ Geographic exhibition which is also quite wonderful. The girl in the eye of the starling storm is my daughter.
