Scribblesnz can write, edit, proofread and provide photography for your publication, taking it from concept to finished product. We’ll tackle any editorial project but specialise in writing and editing feature articles for magazines and newsletters, and producing creative copy for brochures, websites, advertorials, and other marketing material.
Mark is an award-winning journalist with over 25 years’ editorial and commercial experience. He has a particular interest in the environment as well as travel and tourism. His journalism awards were won for environmental newspaper journalism, particularly in relation to how environmental issues impacted on the Caribbean tourism product. In Trinidad he produced a campaigning environmental and natural history magazine called Samaan. Mark is equally at home writing about travel, homes, and on lifestyle and human interest topics. Most of his writing since coming to New Zealand has been commercial, including brochure and website copywriting and advertorials. Prior to embarking on a career in journalism, Mark had a background in sales and marketing and in the golf industry, which has helped inform his subsequent commercial writing assignments.
